Old News

On Sunday, 29th September, 2019, at 10-45am, the church will be celebrating Harvest with a traditional Harvest Festival Service.  Suitable for all ages, this is also a perfect "dementia friendly" service, as we will sing well know harvest hymns, such as "All things bright and beautiful" and "we plough the fields and scatter".

We shall be raising money for the BMS World Mission harvest appeal, which will this year benefit refugees from South Sudan.  We shall also be collecting tins of food for local provision to the needy through Ilkley Foodbank.

For those attending the morning service, we have a special (and free) harvest Lunch afterwards to which everyone is invited!

In our evening service at 6-30pm, we shall also be focusing on Harvest, but with a more contemporary setting.  Again, all are welcome!

2019 saw the Church undertake yet another successful Haiti Tea.  Over £860 was raised to benefit "Beyond Borders", which maintains the church's wish to continue with Missional activities in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

A big thank you to Anne Wilkinson and her team of volunteers for organising the event.

Why not come and join us at the Church at 11-15am on Thursday, 1st August, as we open up the church midweek to view the live presentation of the morning worship and bible study from the main tent at the Keswick Convention.

The speaker will be the renowned American theologian, Ray Ortlund, and he shall be preaching on Romans 8:16-24.

If you have never experienced the Keswick Convention before, this is an easy way to see what Keswick is all about.  Please join us if you can to sing praise and hear God's word.
